Our team
I co-founded Tri-Tech in 1991 with a vision to build an electrical contracting company known for reliability, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality. We've since grown into a trusted name in the industry—something that’s only possible when you invest in the people who make it happen. Seeing our team develop their skills and take pride in their work is what makes this journey so rewarding.
As the third generation of Master Electricians in my family, I’m proud to continue that legacy at Tri-Tech. Beyond the work itself, what I love most about working here is the people—we’re honestly a family.
As a third-generation member of the family business, Tri-Tech has always been a part of my life. I’ve been working here for over 11 years and currently lead accounting, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. Being part of a company with such a strong team culture and long-standing reputation makes me proud of what we continue to build every day.
Even though I’m not on the job sites, I feel just as much a part of the team. There’s a real sense of unity, and I appreciate how well we’re treated.
What stands out about Tri-Tech is how well they treat their employees. The management team is approachable, and they make sure we have everything we need to do our jobs well.
With decades of experience in electrical construction, I joined Tri-Tech in 1992 and have since held roles as an electrician, foreman, estimator, and project manager. My deep understanding of the industry and Tri-Tech’s values allows me to provide strategic guidance and support to the team. In my role as a senior advisor, I take pride in helping shape successful projects and contributing to the company’s continued growth.
I've been with Tri-Tech for years, and it’s because of the people. Everyone here works hard, but we also know how to have a good time. That makes the difference.
Hi, I’m Guy from the service division, with Tri-Tech since 2008. I enjoy team spirit and doing quality work. Here, we’re given plenty of opportunities and room for initiative. 😉
An electrician by trade since 2003, I transitioned to project management after a career shift in 2016, due to health issues, and went back to school to complete a college program in construction estimating.
Upon finishing, I worked for another electrical contractor where I completed my internship. However, when I was offered the opportunity to work at Tri-Tech, I didn’t hesitate—and I have no regrets.
I really appreciate the business model of this company. Every member of the management team shares a strong bond of trust with the owner of Tri-Tech, Steven Shepherd, and his son, Corey Shepherd.
I believe this trust is what drives the company’s success. I can’t see myself working anywhere else.
Guillaume Alarie, Project Manager at Tri-Tech since 2018.

I’ve been in the trade for a long time, and it’s great to work for a company that values my knowledge and lets me put it to good use.

I’ve stayed because we are treated well and fairly, and the guys make it fun to come to work.
What I love most is the balance between independence and support. I’m trusted to do my job, but I also know that if I need help, my team is always there for me.

I’ve been working at Tri-Tech as a team leader for almost 2 years now. The company isn’t afraid to equip employees with excellent tools and rent the necessary equipment to make the job easier.
All the workers feel a strong sense of belonging to the company, which provides workwear and even hosts two parties a year. 😊

At Tri-Tech, I know I’m working with a solid team that has my back. The projects are always interesting, and I get to develop my skills while working with great people.
Tri-Tech doesn’t just give you a job—they give you a career. I started as an apprentice and worked my way up. They recognize hard work and reward it with real opportunities.
Jonathan Rochon, foreman at Tri-Tech and an employee for 22 years—or maybe even longer! At Tri-Tech, we have an amazing team that’s been around for a long time, and we truly enjoy our work. No matter the size of the project, at Tri-Tech, we successfully complete all our jobs. That’s the secret to why we want to stay.
The best part of working at Tri-Tech? The trust. I’m given the freedom to do my job right without someone breathing down my neck. That kind of respect makes all the difference.
As someone new to the trade, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn. The experienced guys are always willing to teach, and I feel like I’m gaining real skills that will push my career forward.
The work is challenging but rewarding, and I love that no two days are the same. It keeps things interesting, and I feel like I’m always learning something new.
I have a passion for coordinating large-scale electrical projects, where I can leverage my practical experience as well as expertise related to specific electrical regulations that I’ve acquired throughout my career.
To achieve goals and tackle daily challenges, I apply key skills that are essential for supervising projects, including coordinating on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing personnel, as well as overseeing operational and materials logistics.
